 Our Multi-disciplinary Team
Collaborations: The Warfarin Dose Refinement (DR) Collaboration and IWPC are international collaborations of biostatisticians, geneticists, pharmacists, and physicians who share anonymous data to improve warfarin dosing.
Pharmacists: Paul Milligan, PharmD, and Gloria Grice, PharmD, are Managers of the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Anticoagulation Service at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis.
Physicians: Brian F. Gage, MD, MSc, is Medical Director of the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Anticoagulation Service and Professor of Medicine at Washington University. Charles Eby, MD, is Director of the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Hemostasis Laboratory and Associate Professor of Medicine and of Pathology & Immunology at Washington University.
Research Assistant: Susan Gatchel, CCRC, has recruited and facilitated warfarin therapy for thousands of patients.
Statisticians: Elena Deych, MS, co-developed the warfarin initiation algorithms on WarfarinDosing.org. Petra Lenzini, MS, co-developed the warfarin refinement algorithms on WarfarinDosing.org.
Technicians & Laboratory Managers: Cristi King, BS, and Rhonda Porche-Sorbet, MS, are responsible for the cytochrome P450 2C9 and VKORC1 and other genotyping at Washington University.
Web Programming and Support: In collaboration with Dr. Gage, IsoDynamic created and manages WarfarinDosing.org
